Adopt a Village

    • Crystal Foundation was created to provide education and healthcare to the underserved population through collaborations in order to kindle ‘stronger minds and healthier bodies’. To this end, we invite you to become a ‘parent’and adopt a village to support their healthcare and educational needs.
    • Crystal Foundation was set up in 1986 in order to serve the growing South Asian Community in New York City. Over the years, we have organized food kitchens and health camps in the community in Queens. More recently, we started a Credit Union to facilitate loans to members of the South Asian Community in New York City.
    • Crystal Foundation has launched a project called adopt a village. Using a trusted and credible organization, this project allows people of Indian origin to adopt their native village or any other, while accruing a tax benefit. We have received land donations from two board members in Baddon(Hoshiarpur) and Thadda/Hazarravillage (Jallandhar). Let’s join hands and support the construction and operation of the first State of the Art Primary Care Health Center. We need your tax-deductible contributions to initiate construction by January 2011.
    • Crystal Foundation launches its Annual Adopt a Village Dinner/DanceGala in December and would like to invite you to be a part of this celebration where we also usually honor renowned members of the community with our Spirit of Service Award.
